 Is coaching a path to excellence? How is coaching helping teachers and students succeed?

 The job the of the coach is unlike any other in the educational system. Why? Because coaching provides individualized professional development tailored to the specific needs of the educator benefiting form it.

Nowadays, with the implementation of new programs and initiatives, the idea of an instructional coach is sometimes misunderstood by teachers in general.

But before jumping into what coaching is, let me refer to what coaching in NOT.

Coaching is not a quick fix, blaming game or a way to micromanage teachers. It's not a way to play "get ya" nor it's a way to serve as a person who acts as a pacing guide or a program reinforcer.
